Elizabeth Mollen's work as a designer is a culmination of her own life experiences. From an early age, her grandparents taught her an appreciation for art and antiques—prompting her to spend her days creating and redecorating her childhood bedroom. Eventually, she left her home in Chicago to study textile and apparel design and art history. Following college, honed her artistic skills working with a diverse range of fashion designers in New York and Los Angeles.

Inspired by the patterns and lines of her grandmother's antiques and jewelry, as well as her own vintage finds and fashion industry perspective, Elizabeth began designing her own collection of pillows. Stone Textile Studio was born in 2012 in Austin, TX, and interior design services became the natural next step. Since, Elizabeth has added wallpaper, textiles, and tiles to her curated shop and established herself as a sought-after designer. At present, she lives in her native Chicago with her college sweetheart and their three children.
