Style My…

Today we are styling a dining table for a dinner party.   How cool is the table above from Urban Space Interiors?  It is called the Balls Table and it was designed by Bertjan Pot for Moooi.    I love that the legs of the table look like strands of black pearls.  For this place setting I decided to mix modern elements (Stone Textile placemats and napkins) with vintage elements (layers of antique China).

The Table:  Balls Table from Urban Space Interiors

The Goods:  Glassware on table, Mini Vases on table,  Reupholstered Vintage Chairs,  Stone Textile Placemats, Gold Flatware, Stone Textile Napkins, Plates/Vintage, Soup Bowl

The Inspiration:

Here are a few things I like to do when styling my own table…

1.  Layer different sets of china.  It is fun to mix and match to create your own look.

2. I like to keep floral simple and cost effective by using a variety of mini vases with one or two stems placed in each vase.

3. I always set the table the night before, a trick I learned from my mom.  It makes things a lot easier the day of the party.

Have a great weekend!
