Now that my home office has been moved out of our house to the new studio space I can focus on getting the nursery together (3 month countdown!). It has been a lot of fun shopping and selecting items for this space (follow along on Instagram using #STNursery) . Everything, furniture wise, has pretty much been ordered and will all be arriving with in the next month or so. Throughout the design process I used some of these images as inspiration. I knew that I did not want the nursery to look like a catalog and wanted to incorporate unique pieces like in the image above. I love how designer Shannon Wollack reposed this beautiful vintage dresser for her changing table. I found a very cook MCM one in Dallas a few weeks ago that is getting reworked right now. Stay tuned…
Grown Up Art in a kid’s space: Why not start their art collection at a young age? The piece above will be something this little boy can have in his room forever. Image

Wallpaper: A nursery is the perfect space to use wallpaper. I am looking forward to having ours installed in a few weeks.
