Love this house…

I love this Chicago home designed by Kara Mann.  This lakefront property  is actually located in the same city that I grew up in.  I know it seems strange to start this little house tour with a dressing room but, I just had to because I love this image.  From the sheepskin covered acrylic chair, to the amazing light fixture, and even to the B + W stripe top hanging on the wall (I need that) Kara did stop short when it came to detail.  The space looks very comfortable without loosing that modern/glam look.  I highlighted a few of my favorite rooms in the house below.  Take a look at the full house tour on Kara’s website…

The brown wood + white marble, in this master bath,  is a perfect combination

I love the dark textured wall coverings matched with the bright white moldings.

Such an amazing view of Lake Michigan!
