Interior Styling / The Guest Room Project

Stone-Textile_Guest-Room-1I finally was able to take some professional photos of the Austin guest room I worked on this past August.  When my clients approved the blue wall color, I knew that I was going to love how this modern meets rustic bedroom  was going to turn out.  It was really exciting seeing this project come together.  Please take a look at more photos below!  (list of sources at the end of the post)

Stone-Textile-Guest-Room-2The dark wall colors work well because of all of the amazing natural light the space gets.

Stone-Textile_guest-room-3This room had to also function as a home office so a secretary desk was used to hide clutter and act as a dresser for guests.  The vintage hotel key holder was a flea market find and we added a personal touch with the key chain numbers (the date is the couples anniversary)

Stone-Textile-_Guest-Room-4The custom window seat and curtains are my favorite part of the space.  I wanted the geometric chevron pattern to pop against all of the vintage/rustic furniture and accessories.

Stone-Textile_Guest-Room-DeA few details:  All 7 of the vintage suitcases were individually picked by me during one weekend at Round Top, it was very fun.  I also love how the Stone Textile Woven V Pillow works with the chevron print.
