A few days ago I came across an image on Pinterest. The image was of an indoor teepee filled with beautiful linen pillows and blankets. I thought, “well this looks fun” so I created a pin board by that name. There have been so many time where I see a great DIY project or read about a new restaurant that opens and think, “I need to do this” or “we need to travel there”. So, today I am sharing one of the spots on my list of fun….
Liz Lambert, the brains behind the very cool Hotel San Jose in Austin, created El Cosmico in Marfa Texas. This new lodging concept is pretty much located in the middle of the Texas desert and you have many choices when it comes to what “room” you prefer to stay in. As seen in the photos above, you can rent a Safari Tent with a queen size bed and wood floors, a 22ft Teepee, or you can pick from one of five restored 1950’s trailers. I am not really the “camping type” and I would love to stay here for a night (maybe even a weekend). What places are on your list?
