Antiquing / In My Genes…

StoneTextileAtHome_Granny1I have mentioned my love for vintage/antique shopping many times on this blog.  A few weeks ago,  when we were driving home from a friend’s ranch house in West Texas, I made my husband pull over so I could take a photo of this antique store sign. He was very cooperative about this one.  Not sure if you know but, the “Stone” in Stone Textile comes from my  grandmother’s last name.  She was a collector and I was lucky enough to inherit those genes.  I actually called her Granny hence, the importance of this little sign.  She loved the hunt and finding that perfect piece that compliments your space and at the same time tells a story.   Below are a few images that I have “collected” of vintage pieces used in a modern setting…
